Video game helps math students vanquish an archfiend: algebra

Dimension M, a fast-paced video game that quizzes students on algebra topics, is being tried in 109 middle schools across the five boroughs of NY.  The new Games for Learning Institute at the University of New York is looking at whether or not educational video games are effective teaching tools.
