Projects try to prepare students to succeed at STEM in College

The National Science Foundation has awarded The State University of New York at Albany a $1million grant to create the Center for Achievement, Retention, and Student Success.  This program is aimed at reducing attrition in math and science studies and preparing high school students to pursue STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) degrees in college.
