Urban teacher residencies touted

The Aspen Institute in Washington and the Center for Teaching Quality in North Carolina realeased a study last month that explored the Boston Teacher Residency Program and the Academy for Urban School Leadership in Chicago.  The study found that teacher-residency programs in Boston and Chicago increased retention numbers for teachers still in the district after 3 years.
