Roslyn Arlin Mickelson is a professor of sociology and adjunct professor of public policy, urban education, and women's studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her research focuses upon the political economy of schooling and school reform, particularly the relationships among race, ethnicity, gender, class, and educational processes and outcomes.
