Patricia Marin studies issues of inclusion and equity in higher education for underrepresented students. In particular, her work examines issues of diversity, affirmative action, and college access. She has worked for The Civil Rights Project (CRP) at Harvard University and the American Council on Education (ACE) in Washington, D.C., and she currently a researcher and lecturer at the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education at the University of California, Santa Barbara. In her work she has collaborated with higher education administrators, association representatives, researchers, policy experts, and government officials.
